Adventure Layer 소개
Adventure Layer is a Layer 2 for fully on-chain games (FOCG) built on Arbitrum Orbit with Berachain as the settlement layer, RaaS provided by AltLayer and AGLD used for gas and governance. It addresses state writes in on-chain games: on a general-purpose chain every application shares block space, so per-frame game state updates push up data-availability costs, while a standalone appchain fragments players and assets. Its shard-sharing state architecture runs each game on its own shard while sharing memory and state contracts, and with ECS parallel execution and parallel ticking it confines high-frequency state updates to the game's own shard.
On 12 August 2026 the network migrated from QuickNode to AltLayer's RaaS, with the mainnet, official bridge and block explorer returning after extended maintenance; the team said user funds and contracts were unaffected. Games running on the chain include LootCraft, Ancient Forest, League of Thrones and Gabby World, with TVL and daily active users not publicly disclosed. AGLD fell to an all-time low of USD 0.1137 on 25 June 2026, about 98% below its 2021 peak, and the gap between token price and on-chain activity is the direct reference point for assessing the ecosystem.
Emissions: The AGIP-9 phased emission schedule took effect in Q2 and marks 2026 as a low-mint year. Circulating supply is 92.84M against a 96M cap, leaving about 3.16M still to be minted, with no concentrated unlock in the period.
Incentives: Newly issued AGLD splits between stakers of Loot-family NFTs, weighted by collection floor market cap, and the treasury. The DAO separately approved 1.5M AGLD from the treasury to fund Gomble's work on several Adventure Layer games.
Adventure Layer launched its L2 mainnet in summer 2026, adopting the native token AGLD as the network's gas token to provide a high-throughput, low-fee environment for games and consumer apps.
After its mainnet launch, Adventure Layer onboarded multiple on-chain games and social applications and ran grant programs to attract developers deploying game logic and assets on the L2, with steady growth in on-chain activity.
Future strategy and roadmap: Looking ahead, Adventure Layer will refine the AGLD-denominated gas and economic model, expand cross-chain bridges and wallet integrations, and build a fuller consumer-grade Web3 stack around game publishing, asset management and community incentives.
