Argot Collective 소개
Argot Collective은 솔리디티 프로그래밍 언어, 스마트 계약 검증 도구, 디버깅 유틸리티 및 관련 언어 연구와 같은 핵심 이더리움 개발자 인프라를 유지 관리하는 데 주력하는 비영리 독립 R&D 팀입니다. 핵심 가치는 중립적이고 독립적인 입지에 있으며, 이를 통해 중요한 공공 인프라가 상업적 이익에 의해 통제되지 않도록 보장합니다. 이 팀이 해결하고자 하는 주요 시장 문제점은 이더리움 생태계에서 공공재의 지속 가능성으로, 이러한 공공재는 흔히 단일 자금원에 의존하여 불확실성에 직면합니다. 지난 6개월(2026년 3월~9월) 동안 Argot은 이더리움 재단의 5년 자금 지원 약속의 마지막 단계를 완료했으며, 약 4,938 stETH가 다중 서명 지갑으로 전송되어 두 차례(2026년 7월과 2027년 7월)에 걸쳐 잠금 해제될 예정입니다. 또한 6개월마다 투명성 보고서와 로드맵 업데이트를 공개하기로 약속했습니다. 이 자금이 단기적인 안정성을 제공하지만, 조직은 단일 기부자에 대한 장기적 의존이 더 넓은 생태계에 여전히 과제로 남아 있다는 점을 인정합니다.
Argot Collective published a roadmap update on July 1, 2026: the Solidity SSA-CFG compilation pipeline shipped with the 0.8.35 release behind an --experimental flag, along with end-to-end Core Solidity compilation and the first releases of act / Fe. The Ethereum Foundation's five-year grant was fully disbursed, totalling 4,938 stETH, with the first tranche unlocked on July 1 (the remainder unlocks on July 1, 2027), held jointly by a 2/3 multisig and a fail-safe committee. The team also established a strategic reserve of 2,474 ETH.
Future strategy and roadmap: Argot Collective will keep advancing SSA formalization and cross-platform tooling for the Solidity compiler, growing act / Fe from first releases into stable, usable workflows, and will draw on its strategic ETH reserve and the remaining stETH to fund long-term R&D and incentives for ecosystem contributors.
