Arkreen Network 소개
Arkreen Network is a DePIN plus ReFi data network for distributed renewable energy, where household solar, storage and usage devices report generation, delivery and consumption events through IoT and commit them on-chain as Proof of Physical Work, forming auditable green data footprints. It targets the monetization gap for long-tail energy assets: smart meters or inverter APIs covering brands such as Enphase, Huawei and SolarEdge turn fragmented solar output into verifiable data, which the AREC protocol then issues, trades and retires as on-chain renewable energy certificates, with demand from carbon-offset buyers, AI compute and green finance. The AKRE token handles issuance, settlement and burning.
In the energy DePIN landscape, Arkreen's product line is layered: a Bitcoin-focused offset product retires RECs against Bitcoin's historical emissions, Power Yield slices commercial solar revenue into 100-watt composable units settled in stablecoins, eCandle runs community solar in Africa, and Photosynth provides automatic offsets for AI agents. In 2025 the network connected over 300,000 nodes and retired more than 140 GWh of on-chain RECs, while its self-set targets of one million nodes and $10 million in on-chain sales both fell short.
