BORA 소개
BORA is a gaming-centric Web3 ecosystem built on the Kaia blockchain (formerly Klaytn), using the BORA token as the ecosystem's common currency. It adopts a three-layer architecture: a core layer handling on-chain settlement and the token system, a service layer providing shared capabilities such as accounts, payments, and social features, and an application layer hosting games and content services, letting developers focus on the product itself.
The BORA ecosystem is operated by METABORA GAMES and features an on-chain engagement layer such as DEEPS to deepen user interaction and community governance. Developers can plug into account, payment, and asset services through a unified SDK and interfaces, without building their own on-chain logic. By packaging blockchain capabilities into reusable service components, BORA positions itself as lowering the barrier for game studios to adopt Web3, letting players accumulate unified, verifiable assets and identity across games.
Major progress: On June 8 the Web3 game Puzzle & Guardians launched as a MINI App on LINE Messenger in Japan, reaching LINE's 100 million-plus users with BORA token rewards distributed via BORA DEEPS.
Governance: On September 30 the team announced METABORA GAMES' primary shareholder would change to Ludicnova Holdings, with Kakao Games and LINE Games joining a joint consultative structure; the token and tokenomics remain unchanged, with no swap required.
BORA launched the Puzzle and Guardians mini app in Japan, became a member of the Kaia governance council and became the first participant in the Kaia consensus liquidity program.
Earlier BORA ran a mini app with NTT DOCOMO's d anime store and opened a token gate for the Line Mini app.
Future strategy and roadmap: the official 2026 first-half roadmap covers a new casual RPG mini game, expansion of the Web3 game lineup into Japan, BORA DEEPS v2.0 and further game publishing partnerships.
