Cobak 소개
Cobak is one of the larger crypto community platforms in South Korea, starting as a mobile app in 2018 and putting discussion boards, market data and news behind one entrance. Users browse by coin, exchange and derivatives category; opening a token shows its price performance, sector and a list of venues where it trades. Market data leans toward the local market, with sentiment indicators and a tracker for the won-denominated premium among its localised tools.
The community is the main body: boards are grouped by topic and highly rated posts move to a featured slot; sections called Spaces are hosted by influential operators and form long-running groups around a theme; quizzes and prediction games turn learning into play and pay token rewards on completion. The platform token is an ERC-20 asset used for content incentives, membership benefits and governance voting, and has been extended to several EVM networks to lower costs. A wallet module supports self-custody and connections to external wallets.
Token migration: On September 30 Cobak announced a 1:1 migration of CBK to a new contract, with the migration service opening in November and supported for six months, covering the native-chain token, the Polygon version and internal CC points, to improve stability and compatibility.
Platform progress: The Q2 2026 roadmap was completed, adding a KRW-market search-trends feature covering Upbit and Bithumb, plus a confirmed Pudgy Penguins IP merchandise collaboration.
Public figures put the platform at over 500,000 users and about 100,000 wallets, with more than 47 IDOs completed since 2019. On July 23, 2026 Bybit delisted CBK spot pairs and removed the token from Convert.
On September 30 Cobak announced a full CBK migration to a new contract, with a six-month window opening in November; CBK on the native chain and Polygon plus the internal CC token convert at 1:1. On September 28 XT.COM suspended CBK-Polygon withdrawals for wallet maintenance.
Cobak's Future strategy and roadmap: after migration the team plans to unify CBK and CC under one contract standard, citing long-term stability and technical compatibility, and to sustain activity through community incentives and Korean project discovery.
