CoinW 소개
CoinW is a centralized exchange founded in 2019 offering spot, derivatives and unified-account trading with a GPT-TradeAI assistant and over 20 million users worldwide. It targets crypto users' cross-asset allocation needs: equity and commodity exposure used to require brokerage accounts, which CoinW brings into one account system. The platform uses a mainstream matching engine and unified margin architecture, with perpetuals anchored to spot via funding rates.
Among exchanges, CoinW differentiates with multi-asset perpetuals and AI tools, competing against top venues on long-tail coins and traditional financial contracts. In July 2026 the platform token CWT stopped circulating and was delisted, with a 180-day redemption opened at the prior month's average price and the buyback-and-burn policy terminated. This switch left CWT holders with interrupted liquidity and forced conversion, and the redemption cap limits large holders
Delisting and redemption: On July 21, CoinW announced a platform token upgrade; CWT immediately ceased circulation and was delisted from secondary markets, with spot trading halted at 14:00 (UTC+8) the same day. A 180-day redemption channel opened, letting holders swap CWT for USDT at the fixed pre-halt monthly average price, or for the new CWC at 80% of its private-sale price (capped at 1,000 CWC per account).
Holder rights change: After the redemption window, CWT retains only in-platform perks such as fee discounts and is no longer tradable; the prior buyback-and-burn policy ended with the upgrade.

CoinW charges a base 0.1% maker fee and 0.1% taker fee on spot trading, applying the same rate on both sides and deducting it from the traded amount.
