On June 4, 2026, Coinone unveiled a four-way alliance in Seoul with Korea Investment Securities, OKX and Com2uS Holdings, securing about 800 billion KRW (roughly $580M) in strategic equity investment, with Korea Investment Securities and OKX each taking about 20% stakes.
Coinone works with OKX as global technology partner providing trading engine, risk control and wallet infrastructure; Korea Investment Securities contributes TradFi compliance and trust; Com2uS provides content and IT infrastructure, targeting double-digit market share and 1 million monthly active users within the year.
Future strategy and roadmap: In the short term Coinone will combine the compliance, trading-engine and content strengths of Korea Investment Securities, OKX and Com2uS to strengthen its domestic market leadership, aiming to regain double-digit market share and lift monthly active users to one million. In the medium term it plans to launch digital financial products such as security token offerings and stablecoins within the legal framework, and to join an over-the-counter trading alliance as a distribution venue once the STO law takes effect in February 2027.
