Farmsent

Farmsent is a Polygon-based blockchain marketplace that connects farmers directly with wholesalers and consumers, letting producers sell produce transparently and cut out middlemen. It targets weak pricing power for smallholders and opaque supply chains by having the platform handle quality checks, payment and logistics. Its core mechanism introduces a Fair Future Contract (FCC) that prices crops against live on-chain market data rather than locking a price early; once a deal is struck the buyer's funds are locked, the farmer delivers, and after platform or partner verification the goods are marked for shipping and settled, with all parties admitted only through KYB and on-site verification, while a mobile Superapp lowers the barrier with Arcana wallet abstraction and .grow domains.

In the ecosystem Farmsent operates across peaq, Polygon and Ethereum and serves global smallholders with soil-sensor and Decentralized Product Passport (DePP) data; unlike general e-commerce, its transaction price is driven by on-chain oracle pricing. Its on-chain settlement depends on Polygon's performance and fee structure, and farmer and buyer admission require manual KYB and field verification, so expansion pace is limited by the offline team's coverage.
