GEB tries to make Bitcoin the account and settlement base for AI agents executing tasks: an agent's identity is a Bitcoin address, funds are locked through a special Bitcoin transaction form, and released on delivery. It targets agent systems that depend on centralized identity and payment channels and cannot constrain behavior without human oversight.
The design has four parts — accounts, execution logic, ordering rules and game-theoretic constraints — using reputation-driven incentives so agents converge on predictable behavior through repeated interaction, with a dual-token system separating execution cost from governance weight.
