Golden Protocol 소개
Golden Protocol is an open, permissionless knowledge graph onchain: anyone submits triples of entities and relationships, verified entries are written into the graph, contributors earn token rewards, and data is titled as NFTs that other applications can query.
It targets the lack of shared structure and incentives in knowledge data, where wiki-style projects depend on volunteers and commercial databases are expensive and closed. Golden turns submission, verification and staking into an economic flow, using stakes to deter bad entries and rewards to fill gaps. The hard part is cold start: a graph's value depends on coverage, coverage depends on usage, and sparse early data struggles to reach a positive loop. The project has stayed in build mode with limited public adoption and commercialization data.

Golden Protocol is building a decentralised canonical knowledge graph that maps real-world entities and the public knowledge around them. The protocol supports a wide range of triple types, qualifiers and associated evidence; any agent can submit triples and, if accepted, earn token rewards, with validators and predictions from the graph itself deciding acceptance. By design it is a game-theoretic system: economic rewards for correct data, slashing of staked collateral as the downside for being wrong, so participants, whether humans, AI or people using AI, converge on truth. Each real-world entity maps to a canonical public data NFT carrying revenue-sharing rights when that data is used commercially, with constructors taking most of the revenue, which discourages duplicate entries.
Funding and backing are substantial. In December 2023 it raised a $40 million Series B led by a16z crypto, with Ali Yahya joining the board alongside Marc Andreessen, bringing total funding to roughly $60 million. Participants included Protocol Labs, Juan Benet, Solana founder Raj Gokal, OpenSea Ventures, FalconX, DCVC and Michael Seibel. Jude Gomila is founder and CEO. At testnet stage the project cited a Discord community of about 35,000, a live dApp and APIs, and early governance in action.
Future strategy and roadmap: the commercial loop has organisations renting data from the protocol, buying and burning tokens into stable data credits so fiat revenue flows continuously into the system, while reputation scores for submitters and validators reduce verification effort over time. The risk is timescale: the distance from testnet to a sustainable data market is long, and knowledge graphs as public goods face direct competition from free alternatives such as Wikidata. Its current visibility also comes more from enterprise-facing entity profiles and data services, so whether token demand at the protocol layer materialises depends on commercial revenue actually flowing back into the on-chain mechanism.
