Launch and burn: Hashcats went live on Robinhood Chain on September 11 with browser-based mining, and HASH began trading the same day; 30% of mint revenue and 5% of swap fees fund buybacks and burns, with about 194.6 ETH deployed, 1.8 million HASH burned (41.3% of supply) and roughly 29 ETH left in the buyback queue.

Hashcats turned an NFT release into a hash race. After going live on Robinhood Chain on September 11, 2026, miners solve a hash in the browser and then pay the current epoch price to mint an on-chain pixel cat, with 70% of the entry fee paid as ETH rent to earlier cats and 30% routed to a hook that buys back and burns HASH. The contract sets no supply cap and ends the collection with difficulty instead: retargeting every eight cats, doubling each epoch, and adding a quadratic penalty past 16,376 that puts the simulated end between 17,000 and 20,000. By October 8, 9,796 cats had been mined, minting had stalled for 16 days, the entry price had reached about 0.164 ETH, and buybacks had spent roughly 195 ETH to burn 41.3% of HASH.
