HoneyCoin 소개
HoneyCoin is a payments and stablecoin infrastructure platform for Africa that unifies mobile money, bank transfer, cards and stablecoin rails across 21 markets through one API, letting fintechs and cross-border merchants collect and pay. It targets the fragmentation of African payment topologies where each institution needs separate integration by consolidating M-Pesa, MTN, Orange, Wave and bank channels into a single integration. Its core mechanism opens collections, payouts and USDC/USDT on/off-ramp plus multi-currency virtual accounts once a merchant passes KYB, with stablecoins moving between Ethereum, Base, Polygon and local mobile money or banks, and a single transaction ID tying on-chain confirmation to local settlement.
In the ecosystem HoneyCoin is tightly bound to African mobile-money networks and banks, positioning itself as the underlying rails for cross-border African payments; unlike peers it treats stablecoins as a native payment layer and covers the full chain from acquiring to settlement. Its coverage depth depends on direct-connect quality with each country's mobile-money operators, and jurisdictions without a direct link fall back to proxy rails, so settlement speed and fees fluctuate.
