HypurrCollective is a community organisation for the Hyperliquid ecosystem, founded in 2024, headquartered in Singapore, with a team of two to ten people and a nonprofit self-description. It was started by Kirby, Noel and Velocity, known as @kirbyongeo, @narwhaltan and @xVelocity88. It has no token, with the ecosystem directory explicitly listing No Plans, and is bootstrap funded. Members are founders, builders, market makers, KOLs and power users, and the stated value proposition is contributing back to ecosystem growth. Six benefits are listed for members: ecosystem visibility and marketing, advisory insight from power users, traders, builders and KOLs, networking with industry leaders, educational resources including tutorials and workshops, early access to new projects, features and beta tests, and an innovation incubator for launching new projects. Entry is gated: applicants need a referral from an existing member or must prove deep involvement in the Hyperliquid ecosystem. The core group HypurrCore has about 80 people, the open HypurrCo and Frens group around 4,000, the Telegram community about 4,700 and social reach around 28,000.

The most quantifiable part of its influence is the validator business. It runs the largest mainnet validator outside the foundation's nodes, with more than 40 million HYPE delegated and over $1 billion in staked value, a 2 percent commission and 99.9 percent uptime, on bare-metal nodes in Tokyo in partnership with Nansen's StakeWithUs. Liquid staking protocols including Thunderhead's stHYPE, Ambit's HyperDrive and Kinetiq include it in their validator sets. Around the validator it has secured airdrops, NFT allowlists and Nansen points for its stakers. It also produces an ecosystem directory and map, weekly wrap-ups, ecosystem and project guides, AMAs and research pieces, with individual posts averaging 10,000 to 50,000 views and a Hyperliquid thesis co-authored with Mirana Ventures as a flagship example, and it runs HL-focused community events called HypurrCo Gathers.

Future strategy and roadmap: it is extending its influence toward both capital and services. It acts as a curator and launch partner at Fjord Foundry specifically for Hyperliquid-aligned projects, having curated Timeswap and OmniX, is preparing a HyperAccelerator, supports user acquisition and beta testing for ecosystem projects, runs a Telegram jobs board, assists fundraising including a pending Echo group subject to KYB, and operates an OTC desk for Hypurr NFTs and illiquid tokens, having facilitated 28 NFT sales. The risk is that its value is almost entirely bound to the success of a single ecosystem, and its revenue structure is thin: a nonprofit, bootstrap-funded organisation relies mainly on validator commission and partnership income, so cash flow would be hit directly if HYPE staking competition intensifies or delegations move elsewhere. Curation and OTC activity also carry conflict-of-interest exposure, and the high membership bar limits how fast it can scale.
