Lead Bank 소개
Lead Bank is a Missouri state-chartered, FDIC-insured bank based in Kansas City that positions itself as API-driven banking infrastructure and a banking-as-a-service provider. It owns the charter and a direct Federal Reserve connection, letting fintech and consumer companies embed accounts, cards, loans and payments into their own products through APIs, backing the integration with compliance controls, risk management and regulatory oversight for responsible innovation.
The platform organises products around four pillars, Lend for loans, Move for money movement including stablecoin transfers, Issue for card programmes and Store for FDIC-insured multi-currency deposit accounts, and supports agent accounts and stablecoin-backed cards for clients that include fintech firms and digital-asset platforms. It stresses compliance, programmability and modular composition as regulated foundational financial infrastructure.
In January 2026 Lead partnered with Loop Crypto, and in March the Bridge and Visa stablecoin card program expanded toward a 100-country rollout, with Lead joining Visa's on-chain stablecoin settlement pilot as a participating bank. The bank reports $4 billion in client assets, more than $31 billion in loan originations per year and 4.15 billion API calls annually, and has introduced Agent Accounts and Agent Cards for AI agents.
Lead Bank will expand stablecoin on and off ramps, stablecoin-backed cards and cross-border payouts after the GENIUS Act, deepen account and issuing infrastructure for agentic finance, and deploy Series B proceeds into the balance sheet and technology stack.
