Metagood 소개
Metagood is the company behind OnChainMonkey (OCM), which runs a profile-picture NFT set carried mainly on Bitcoin Ordinals along with a charity and governance structure around it. The 10,000 genesis pieces were first written to Ethereum in a single transaction, then inscribed in full on Bitcoin, with Ordinals putting image and metadata directly into satoshis instead of relying on external storage. It addresses the misalignment between an NFT project and its holders: half of secondary royalties flow into a DAO treasury that holders vote to allocate.
The flows are documented: the OCM Earth collection raised about USD 185,000 for Ukraine relief, a charity tournament with Axie Infinity raised more than USD 450,000 to rebuild typhoon-hit homes in the Philippines, and smaller grants funded coral restoration and a skate park renovation in Brazil. Clients are collectors and brands, and a partnership with Asprey Studio ties physical sculpture to onchain inscription. OCM's pricing and liquidity sit within the Ordinals market, so royalty income rises and falls with secondary trading.

On 27 April 2026 Metagood published a research paper on visual reproducibility in virtualisable public-chain art systems, setting out a conditional impossibility result for visual scarcity, and opened its OCM research repository alongside brand documentation. For a team centred on onchain art, it marked a turn from engineering practice toward claims that peers can test.
The paper rests on years of work. Metagood's OCM Dimensions was inscribed in February 2023 on satoshis from Bitcoin block 78 and pioneered recursive inscriptions: Three.js, p5.js and fflate compressed, inscribed once and called at render time, so each piece renders a real-time 3D animation in roughly one kilobyte, with onchain random reveal after minting. The Genesis collection moved from Ethereum to Ordinals through teleburn, producing parent-child provenance that can be verified at the protocol level.
Future strategy and roadmap: Metagood plans to keep the shared onchain code libraries open to more artists, tie cross-chain collecting to charitable funding, and use the paper's framework to evaluate scarcity design in new work so that irreproducible rendering is not mistaken for scarcity.
