Orbiter Finance 소개
Orbiter Finance is a zero-knowledge cross-chain bridge that achieves near-instant transfers between Layer 2 networks through market makers who pre-fund collateral. A user pays a market maker's address on the source chain with the last few digits of the amount encoding the destination chain and address, and the maker delivers from its own funds on the target chain, usually within ten to twenty seconds. If a maker defaults, users can file an arbitration claim with proof.
It addresses capital efficiency and trust in lock-and-mint bridges, where assets sit in a contract and a single breach causes large losses. Pre-funded collateral spreads risk across many makers, at the cost of dependence on their solvency and honesty. By May 2026 the protocol had processed about USD 28 billion across 35 million transfers and more than 80 mainnet chains; a phishing domain impersonating the official bridge appeared in April 2026, external fraud rather than a protocol breach.

Cumulative bridge volume exceeds $28 billion across 4.3 million users; documents mention a buyback-and-burn mechanism but no scale, and daily volume runs $250,000 to $1.66 million.
Orbiter Finance expanded its ZK-powered cross-chain infrastructure in 2026. On March 12 it integrated MegaETH, letting users bridge ETH and USDT into the real-time blockchain and tap its high-throughput ecosystem
On March 16, Orbiter Finance released the open-source "Cross-chain Skills" toolkit for developers and AI agents, comprising an MCP server, a CLI, and prebuilt skills that programmatically quote bridge fees, simulate transactions, auto-approve tokens, and broadcast transfers for one-click automated cross-chain execution. The protocol continues extending its network to high-performance chains and is pushing developer tooling and AI-agent automation as the new frontier of its cross-chain capability.
