PolkaWorld 소개
PolkaWorld is a Chinese-language community and content organisation for Polkadot, founded in June 2019 by HashBang and ChainX, read by everyone from Substrate developers to ordinary holders. Polkadot's stack of relay chain, parachains, on-chain governance and forkless upgrades is conceptually dense, and English documentation moves faster than translation, leaving Chinese readers without context on referenda and runtime upgrades. PolkaWorld unpacks those mechanisms through weekly digests, long-form pieces, interviews and livestreams, and brings developers in through Substrate workshops and hackathons.
Its output includes over a thousand articles, hundreds of livestreams and dozens of offline events; it was an early recipient of Web3 Foundation community funding, has repeatedly secured operating budgets through treasury proposals, and sits as a delegate in the Decentralised Voices programme, translating between Chinese audiences and the official narrative.
In 2026, PolkaWorld remained active as a Polkadot community and media organization, publishing weekly reports and in-depth articles interpreting the DAP (Decentralized Allocation Pool) reform, the strategic shift after Gavin Wood returned as Parity CEO, and the JAM architecture.
Centered on Chinese-language content, PolkaWorld connects the Polkadot Foundation, community and developers and serves as a key window for the Chinese-speaking world to follow Polkadot progress.
Future strategy and roadmap: PolkaWorld plans to keep deepening content around Polkadot's second-age productization strategy, track each phase of the DAP rollout and Hub ecosystem growth, and expand Chinese-community events and developer education.
