On September 28, 2026 Shiga Digital and Tether launched self-custodial digital asset products ENTA and Pulse, both built on Tether's open-source Wallet Development Kit and supporting USDT, Bitcoin and Tether Gold (XAUT), with users holding their own private keys. ENTA targets individuals, high-net-worth clients and businesses, while Pulse targets banks and fintechs building payments, treasury and settlement services.
Shiga is completing the final step for a Nigerian Digital Asset Intermediary licence, which has not yet been granted.
Under Shiga Digital's announced plan, ENTA will first go live in key corridors across Africa and the Gulf Cooperation Council, with funding via local currency, US dollars or Bitcoin, while Pulse is tailored per institution for payment corridors and settlement flows and can be deployed in the client's own environment. The longer-term direction is to connect tokenized gold, tokenized securities and identity wallets along the Africa-Gulf corridor.

Shiga Digital obtained a Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Innovation Licence， under which it operates digital-asset payment， virtual-account and treasury products within the DIFC innovation framework.
