TaoFi 소개
TaoFi is a DeFi suite for the Bittensor ecosystem spanning a token-collateralised stablecoin, a trading venue, liquid staking and a bridge: it runs concentrated liquidity market making on the ecosystem's EVM environment and uses cross-chain messaging and account abstraction to convert stablecoins and major assets from other chains into subnet tokens in one step with automatic staking.
It targets the dedicated wallet, the need to buy the base token on a centralised exchange and pick a validator, and the difficulty external capital faces entering. On 5 May 2026 a cross-chain design brought the base token to Solana and TaoFi opened that entry, and from June it allowed direct conversion from Solana and Ethereum assets into subnet tokens. Subnet tokens are highly volatile, so bridge routes and staking yield together drive realised returns.
TaoFi launched on May 5, 2026 alongside Bittensor's native TAO token bridging to Solana via Wormhole's Sunrise platform, using Hyperlane to let users swap Ethereum / Solana assets directly into Bittensor alpha tokens and channeling Solana DeFi liquidity into Bittensor subnet economies.
TaoFi also closed a strategic round led by DCG with Pantera Capital, Taostats and Lyrik Ventures, funding DeFi infrastructure on the Bittensor EVM.
TaoFi's product roadmap includes TAO USD (an overcollateralized stablecoin), TAO Swap (a DEX) and stTAO (liquid staked TAO) to connect the AI compute network with DeFi.
TaoFi charges a 0.1% fee on all cross-chain swaps executed through its canonical user interface.
The TaoFi TAO-USDC Uniswap V3 pool on Bittensor EVM carries a 0.3% pool fee, paid entirely to liquidity providers.
TaoFi users earn 100% of the fees from swaps made through their referral links, while third-party interfaces can set their own fee amounts and validator choices.
