Tiger Research 소개
Tiger Research is an independent blockchain research and advisory firm in Seoul that provides market research, on-chain data and custom consulting to corporates, financial institutions and protocol teams. Reports centre on Korean account structures, exchange fund flows and regulatory progress, the data side uses on-chain analytics to trace cross-border paths, and the advisory side gives projects entering Korea compliance routes, partner screening and localisation research.
Products are subscription reports, data dashboards and closed-door events, with clients including institutions that need to understand Asian retail structure and overseas teams preparing to enter Korea. Compared with globally covering data platforms such as Messari, its strength is first-hand Korean fieldwork and regulatory reading. In June 2026 it partnered with Chainalysis to use that firm's fund-tracing tools for analysing on-chain routes of Korean investors moving funds to overseas exchanges, and the resulting work also serves entry decisions by exchanges and asset managers.
In 2026, Tiger Research published series reports including 'Korea Institutional Crypto: 2026 Landscape', mapping Korean institutions' crypto partnerships and exchange equity buys (e.g., Hana Bank's ~$720 million purchase of 6.55% of Dunamu/Upbit, and Samsung Securities et al. acquiring 4.0% combined). Another report noted 11.18 million real-name Korean crypto accounts in H1 2026 and forecast a combined tokenized-asset and stablecoin market of about $253 billion by 2030.
