tZERO 소개
tZERO is a licensed US digital-securities trading and infrastructure platform. Its FINRA-registered alternative trading system matches private-placement and exempt securities tokens, supported by a broker-dealer for onboarding, custody and settlement, so equity and fund interests not listed on traditional exchanges can be registered and transferred as tokens.
Compliance comes first in the model: each listing requires issuer due diligence and a securities-law exemption path, investors must qualify as accredited, and transfers are bound by lock-ups and issuer rules, so matching is infrequent and dominated by negotiated transfers rather than continuous auction. Unlike general crypto exchanges it cannot list utility tokens or offer projects a market-making listing channel. Its retail crypto trading app was shut down in 2023, and the business refocused on the trading system and issuance services.

tZERO's ATS charges a 1% commission on the executed amount for secondary trades in securities priced at USD 3.00 per share or more.
For securities priced below USD 3.00 per share, tZERO charges USD 0.03 per share, rounded up to the nearest USD 0.01.
tZERO charges a non-refundable processing fee of up to 7% of each primary-offering subscription, plus USD 25 for domestic and USD 50 for international outgoing wires.
tZERO's units hold broker-dealer registration with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, an alternative trading system for tokenized securities, custody and transfer agent registrations, and Commodity Futures Trading Commission derivatives clearing organization approval in October 2026.
