A developer-oriented blockchain platform founded in 2017, offering the EVM-compatible ABT chain, decentralised identity and verifiable credential tooling, and Forge, an open-source framework for assembling on-chain applications quickly. It addresses the need for application developers to stitch together consensus, accounts and identity themselves: Forge packages chain, nodes, wallet, GraphQL interfaces and DID documents into subscribable components, a configuration file generates an application chain, and the identity layer issues and verifies credentials to W3C standards. ABT pays for network resources and is staked, either for fee-free quotas or as security for subscription billing, with forfeited amounts routed to a community pool.
Customers are enterprises and developers that want their own chain and a compliance-ready identity system, and the line runs from chain to identity to application framework, with staking adding a resource layer and a credit layer. Compared with general rollup services it is closer to an application-chain factory; compared with identity-only protocols it binds identity to on-chain execution inside one toolchain. In September 2026 the official community forum, including all posts and user identities, migrated wholesale to ARC, the Agentic Realm Computer, supported by a rebuilt DiscussKit.

On 9 September 2026 ArcBlock launched a new website written entirely by AI coding agents and served on its own ARC runtime, a demonstration of building its products with its own tools. As of September the ecosystem counted 4,817 builders, 625 apps, 1,023 independent deployments and 1.1 million cumulative downloads. In October the team shipped capabilities such as AFS-UI and Web Device, letting one body of content render an interface for humans while agents read the same structure through paths.
ArcBlock's product set also converged: DID Space became ArcSpace, a data space tied to identity; ARC is described as a computer for agents, emphasizing identity, durable state and ownership that can be carried away; and applications such as Aside arrived, with DiscussKit rebuilt on ARC.Technically ARC splits applications into deployable Blocklets, and with the AFS file system and AUP interface protocol the same content renders as a web page and is readable by agents through paths. In the September rebuild, pages, styles and interaction code were produced by coding agents, with humans reviewing.
Future strategy and roadmap: ArcBlock treats DID and verifiable credentials as the identity base for the agent era, and plans to standardize shared human-agent interface and data layers through protocols such as AFS and AUP while pursuing enterprise deployments in compliant identity use cases.
