Holochain 소개
Holochain is a peer-to-peer application framework in development since 2017 that inverts the blockchain approach to consensus: it is agent-centric, so each node keeps its own source chain, data syncs through distributed hash tables on demand, and validation is done by randomly selected witnesses, letting throughput grow with participation without paying the whole network for every action.
Holo adds a hosting layer that connects apps to ordinary browsers: HoloPort devices or cloud nodes supply storage and bandwidth, a web bridge and HTTP gateway expose chain data as standard interfaces, and hosts charge in HoloFuel. In the second quarter of 2026 the team completed a technical migration test from HOT to HoloFuel and released beta versions of a browser-side agent plugin and a lightweight network connector, so web users can reach apps without installing a runtime.
