Humanity Protocol 소개
Humanity Protocol uses palm print and palm vein biometrics for proof of personhood. Enrolment produces an identity hash, raw biometric data never goes on-chain, and verification relies on a zero-knowledge proof that the biometric is enrolled and unique, giving one account per person without disclosing identity. The network runs on a Proof of Trust consensus combining staking with identity verification, in which zkProofer nodes validate verifiable credentials and proof presentations and are rewarded by verification volume.
The identity layer carries attributes such as age, residency and employment as DIDs and verifiable credentials, so enterprises call verification through an SDK instead of maintaining their own database; more than 8 million identities have been enrolled, with integrations concentrated in hospitality, travel and consumer finance. Compared with iris-scanning approaches, capture hardware costs less, and the positioning is a trust layer embedded in existing apps.

Unlock overhang: H released about 266 million tokens on June 25, August 25 and September 25, worth roughly $54.8 million, $18.3 million and $17.5 million respectively; a further 293 million H cliff matured on September 23, about $24.4 million or 2.9% of total supply, keeping dilution pressure on price.
Setback: The protocol lost more than $30 million in an exploit before June and the token slumped afterward; by mid-October H traded near $0.065 against a 10 billion total supply.
On 8 June 2026 attackers used phishing to steal keys from a Humanity Protocol director's device, minting and selling H without authorisation on Ethereum and BNB Chain and causing about $36 million in losses while the price fell nearly 89%. On 16 June the project published a recovery plan: old tokens on all three networks were permanently disabled, a newly audited ERC-20 H would be airdropped one-to-one based on the 17:25 UTC snapshot that day, and attacker-linked addresses were excluded.
Humanity mainnet restarted within weeks with the new H as native gas token. On 25 September about 266.5 million H unlocked under the monthly vesting schedule and Kraken completed its delisting the same day, while the team postponed the concentrated team and investor unlock from May to 26 November to ease selling pressure.
Humanity Protocol's Future strategy and roadmap: Humanity will roll out verifier nodes and dashboard upgrades, widen biometric identity integration in airdrops, social apps and compliance workflows, and use the compensation fund and KYC process to settle outstanding claims and rebuild institutional partnerships.
