NKN 소개
NKN is a decentralised network transport layer that turns idle bandwidth and connectivity into a metered relay service. Proof of relay rewards nodes by the volume they actually forward, cellular automata consensus maintains the topology of a large node set, and the stack offers a mobile app, enterprise connectivity and a data relay product. The pain point is that public internet transport depends on centralised content delivery networks, clouds and VPNs, with idle bandwidth, single points of failure and uncontrolled service quality all at once.
In late March 2026 the team announced a mainnet upgrade covering throughput and node incentives and disclosed a technical partnership with a decentralised storage network. Exchange access kept shrinking: Binance completed a delisting in February 2026, and Upbit announced removal of NKN pairs on 14 May, effective 15 June with withdrawals closing on 16 July, concentrating liquidity on smaller venues.
Progress: Late March brought a mainnet upgrade plan targeting throughput and node incentives plus a stated technical partnership with a decentralized storage network; NKN rose 176.38% in seven days, trading at $0.01289 on March 30 with a $10.58M market cap and $441K daily volume.
Supply: Circulating supply is 798.8M, or 79.9% of the 1B cap, with 3–5% annual inflation and no mandatory buyback; several exchange delistings in the same period weighed on liquidity.
NKN completed a mainnet node software upgrade in January 2026, fixing logging defects and restoring stable network operation. In March, NKN announced a mainnet performance upgrade that optimizes network throughput and the node incentive model, improving message-delivery efficiency at large node scale.
NKN is also advancing integrations such as nConnect, expanding the adoption of decentralized communication and remote-access scenarios.
Future strategy and roadmap: On the roadmap, NKN unveiled its Mainnet Evolution (2026-2027) plan, aiming to scale the network to millions of nodes and continuously strengthen incentives and cross-chain/application-layer interoperability, strengthening the network's capacity and resilience.
