OKZOO is a DePIN environmental data network: users buy and deploy P-mini sensors that collect air quality, temperature and humidity readings, the data is registered onchain, and contributors earn token rewards, with an AI pet game layered on for retention. It targets environmental monitoring that depends on centralized stations and lacks dense real-time coverage.
The model is the familiar hardware-plus-incentive loop: device sales set data density, density sets network value, and token price feeds back into sales. The token rose nearly 190% in a single day this year before falling back, driven mostly by narrative; a September 15 partnership with payment firm MasterPay is one of the few commercial links. Once hardware spreads, data quality and paying data buyers are the hardest questions such networks face.

OKZOO is a DePIN project on BNB Chain describing itself as the world's first urban-scale decentralized environmental data network. Portable AIoT devices, the P-mini series, collect street-level air quality, noise, humidity, CO2, temperature and VOC readings, process them at the edge and feed them on chain for AI applications and smart city use cases. It wraps hardware collection in an AI pet app, so users can earn through interaction and data contribution without owning a device, while each device maps to a P-NFT whose holder receives data mining rights. AIOT has a maximum supply of one billion and is used for data rewards, staking validation, governance and developer access.
The project was founded by Joseph Young, began with digital pet applications and pivoted to AIoT hardware and environmental monitoring in early 2024. Pre-orders for the P-mini o1 opened on 10 June 2025, and in September 2025 MasterPay Group, backed by Mastercard, DBS and Bank Negara Malaysia, made a multimillion-dollar strategic investment, with plans to integrate payments into the ecosystem. The 2026 roadmap covers expansion of the AIOT Watch and Heal-to-Earn protocol, plus a super app and financial-grade platform, and the project claims around 12 million ecosystem users.
Future strategy and roadmap: OKZOO wants to grow from an environmental data network into a combined health data and payments ecosystem, making Heal-to-Earn work through wearables and then folding data, AI insights and financial services into one super app using MasterPay's payment rails. The risks are pronounced: third-party evaluation gives it about 2.4 out of 10, citing no public code repositories or third-party audits, heavily centralised governance and supply with foundation and insider wallets estimated at 65 to 72 percent, and an anonymous team whose credentials cannot be independently corroborated. Circulating supply figures across trackers range from 3 percent to nearly 50 percent of maximum supply, app installs are not the same as real physical data contributors, and deployed device counts lack independent verification.
