PACT Protocol 소개
PACT was originally the governance token of the Celo poverty-alleviation protocol impactMarket; after supply was restructured to 100 billion on Celo and bridged to Aptos, it completed migration and listed a USD pair on Kraken. The protocol itself was rebuilt as an on-chain private-credit platform: loan origination, repayment, warehousing and securitization run fully on-chain, claims are credentialed as dynamic NFTs, Move-language contracts connect institutional lenders and borrowers, and off-chain collateral is custodied by BitGo. It targets the high cost and opaque cash flow of micro-lending in developing countries and the institutional private-credit middle layer, standardizing the credit factory via smart contracts so global capital can directly subscribe to verifiable loan pools. Governance uses vePACT for voting and fee rights with a 30-day cooldown on unlock.
In August 2026 the DAO passed Proposal #0 to retire about 1.168 million dollars of debt over 12 tranches using part of the PACT supply, with team and investor allocations later unlocking linearly to 2028. The old Celo bridge is closed, leaving about 427 million tokens stranded unmigrated. Self-reported circulation of 32.61 billion tokens implies a market value of only about 4.24 million dollars, and the gap between the credit ledger scale and the token market cap is the protocol's most prominent structural feature
Token release: On August 7 the DAO ratified Proposal #0, settling about $1.168M of debt with 13.46B PACT (10.8% of supply) in 12 monthly tranches of roughly 1.12B each, with daily sales capped at 10% of trailing 7-day volume; tranches 1 and 2 (2.24B PACT) were paid on September 9.
Unlocks and migration: Team and investor tokens begin linear unlocking on December 14 through December 14, 2028; the legacy Celo bridge is closed with 426.9M PACT still unmigrated to Aptos; self-reported circulating supply was 32.61B (about $4.24M market cap) on September 28.
On February 26, 2026, PACT completed its migration to Aptos and introduced Tokenomics 2.0, letting holders lock tokens for vePACT with voting rights and a share of protocol fees, subject to a 30-day cooldown on unstaking; Kraken opened PACT/USD the same day, with MEXC and Gate following.
On August 7, 2026, governance proposal #0 was ratified, settling 13.46 billion PACT, or 10.8% of total supply, to Lucid Finance and two other parties against $1.168 million of debt at a $0.0000868 average, payable in 12 monthly tranches from August 7; the first two tranches, 2.24 billion tokens, were paid on September 9. As of September 28, 32.61 billion tokens were circulating, 26.1% of supply, worth about $4.24 million.
PACT would extend on-chain credit from high-frequency micro-loans into stablecoin payroll and cross-border settlement, with accelerated release triggered at $3 million of annualised protocol revenue or a $500 million 30-day average FDV as set out in the proposal.
