Sahara 소개
Sahara is a Layer 1 for AI data and agent collaboration that breaks data labeling, model training and inference into verifiable work units settled onchain among contributors, compute providers and buyers. The provenance and quality of training data are hard to verify, enterprises lack traceable ownership records when purchasing, and individual contributors rarely get paid in proportion to actual use. Sahara binds each dataset to contribution records through onchain identity and asset registration, has validators sample and review task outputs, and distributes settlement by workload and quality scores, while offering an agent runtime and APIs that keep model calls, data licensing and payment within one account system.
The difficulty is verification cost: sampling cannot cover long-tail tasks, quality scores depend on reviewer expertise, and enterprise buyers still prefer centralized data vendors. Onchain settlement throughput and inference costs limit high-frequency calls and real-time training.

On May 14, 2026 Sahara opened staking in exchange for access to AI compute, and after June's market drop the team extended its own token lockup by six months. On July 26 it unlocked 156.66 million SAHARA, worth about $1.57 million, and outlined multi-chain expansion plus a second staking phase tying tokens to agent access and model rewards.
The roadmap runs by quarter: a data intelligence platform and persistent agent memory in the second quarter, multi-agent systems and an agent marketplace in the third, and the Agentic AppChain mainnet in the fourth, where SAHARA becomes native gas and the coordination token. The team cites more than 40 enterprise clients including Microsoft, Amazon, MIT and Snap. The token is down more than 90% from its $0.163 high.
Future strategy and roadmap: Sahara advances its roadmap by quarter: a data-intelligence platform and persistent agent memory in Q2, multi-agent systems and an agent marketplace in Q3, and the Agentic AppChain mainnet in Q4 with SAHARA as the native gas and coordination token. Staking is already open in exchange for AI-compute access; next it will validate demand through consumer apps like Sorin and bind usage, agent access and token demand via staking and an XP system, growing enterprise clients such as Microsoft, Amazon, MIT and Snap.
