Supra 소개
Supra began as an oracle provider and later built its own Layer 1, where the Moonshot Byzantine fault-tolerant protocol works with Sailfish DAG ordering and a mempool-less bucketing design to bring block production and finality below a second. It runs the DORA price oracle, a distributed verifiable random function, an automation network and the HyperNova and HyperLoop cross-chain messaging layers on one validator set, so a dApp paying gas in SUPRA can call all of them without integrating separate vendors. MultiVM supports Move and EVM, and Supra Containers give applications isolated execution while inheriting mainnet security.
Typical callers are derivatives, gaming and payment applications that need low-latency prices and automatic execution: a contract reads a DORA push or pull feed, the automation network submits the transaction once conditions are met, and cross-chain legs settle through HyperNova after full-node verification. On 11 July 2026 the pull-oracle verifier on Hedera was exploited because the validation path accepted a zero-value BLS curve point, letting a forged public key pass the check; the team published an incident report and patched the path.

Supra's year was defined by an oracle incident and the hardening that followed. On 11 July an attacker exploited a cryptographic edge case in the on-chain verification path of Supra's pull oracle on Hedera: the verifier did not reject the BLS identity element, the curve point with zero coordinates, so when the retrieved public key and the submitted signature were both the identity, the pairing equation held for any message. The attacker wrote a false price for the thin SAUCE/wHBAR pair and borrowed about $9.05 million against it on Bonzo Finance.
Supra published an incident report and patched within roughly twelve hours, adding committee-range and key-presence checks, identity-element rejection and on-curve and subgroup validation. On-chain records showed the same fix had reached eleven other chains days earlier, leaving Hedera as the omission, and co-founder Josh Tobkin attributed discovery to AI-assisted attack tooling. Two other moves marked the year: a governance-approved increase of the mainnet minimum gas price from 100 to 100,000 Quants effective 11 May, and continued work on the MultiVM testnet and dApp contest.
Supra now treats version consistency across oracle deployments as the first engineering discipline, with a unified upgrade checklist and monitoring; on product, native oracles, VRF, automation and MultiVM remain the differentiators as the pitch shifts from raw performance to integrated infrastructure.
